Com Tam Suon (Broken rice with pork rib)

Com suong nuong


  • 50g broken rice
  • 180 – 200ml water
  • 150g pork rib
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 4 teaspoon cooking oil
  • 2 teaspoon annatto oil
  • 2 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoon fried garlic
  • 1 tb spoon fish sauce
  • 2 tb spoons Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • Nước mắm chấm
  • 100g chopped spring onion
  • 1 tb spoon soy sauce
  • Broken Rice: wash with water and steam for about 30 mins
  • Sprig onion with oil: Heat cooking oil then pour into a bowl with spring onion and a little of Salt
  • Pork Rib: wash with water then use hammer smash until it get soft, marinate with oyster sauce, soy sauce, spring onion, shallot, garlic, pepper, cooking oil, chopped lemongrass, chicken powder, sugar, let it stand for 10-15 mins. Grill on charcoal at 150oC to 200oC until pork ribs get golden brown.
  • Transfer rice, spring onion with oil on top, pork ribs to the plate. Serve with tomato, cucumber and dipping fish sauce.
